Sara's Face

Sara's Face
By: Melvin Burgess

Outer back cover: Times have changed. Young girls dream of operations like this. It's like buying new clothes these days.
Sara Carter wants to be famous. Fame is her obsession. So when legendary rock star Jonathon Heat offers her star training and the cosmetic surgery she thinks she wants, Sara can't believe her dream will come true.
But Jonathon Heat doesn't want Sara's talent. Jonathon Heat want Sara's face.

Weird, slightly confusing, trilling and really good.

Sara is a really strange character. She changes style and personalities like the wind and you never know if what she's telling you is the truth or not, and you never know what it is she really thinks, which makes the book a little confusing, and also very scary in a way. I still liked her character, and I think this book would make a very interesting movie if done correctly and with good actors.

The book is really weird and some things you never really get the answer to, which is a bit annoying, but it's kind of explained why they do it that way, and it's still a good book.
